Concert to Remember
A special Piano Recital will be given by John Bryden in memory of some of our members who have recently passed away - Tony Watson, Janet Wingfield and Gill McIntosh, wife of former Chairman, Roy. This 'Concert to Remember' will be on Sunday 2nd December at 3.00pm in Melrose Parish Church Hall. Tickets cost £10 (children and students FREE), and can be obtained either by contacting the MMS Treasurer, Ross Thomson, on 01896 822020 or, or at our concert on Saturday 17th November. All proceeds are in aid of Medecins sans Frontieres.

A4 Brass Quartet
A selection of music by Classical and Contemporary composers ranging from Mendelssohn and Goedicke to Grainger and Jonathan Bates, one of the Quartet’s members who also has arranged several of the works. The programme will include his Suite ‘Alone at the Opera’ featuring some well-known operatic melodies.
