Gina and Nigel, who last played for us in October 2018, return with a wonderfully melodic and emotionally intense programme featuring César Franck’s Sonata in A. Before that epic masterpiece, we will hear Felix Mendelsohn’s Sonata in F, Gerard Finzi’s wistful Elegy, Amy Beach’s beautiful Romance, and Howard Ferguson’s remarkable Sonata No.2.
