Special Concert in Association with the Melrose Music Festival
Ingrid Sawyers (piano) and Alexandra Mackenzie (cello) will be performing an intriguing and varied recital of largely unfamiliar, but delightful, pieces spanning four centuries. We continue our Holst celebration indirectly, through two beautiful folk song arrangements by his daughter, Imogen. Of particular local interest will be the Elegy by Kenneth Leighton, a regular attender at our concerts in years gone by.
